The recent YouTube star, Ted Williams, went from being a pan handler on the streets of Columbus to being employed to over seven different contracts and now stays in a home that was donated to him. Williams started off by going to school studying to be a broadcaster of any sort and quickly went off that path when he started doing drugs and alcohol. Ted Williams went to jail a numerous amount of times from petty thefts to robberies, which would help pay for his addictions.
The video that blew this nation away was a 97 second clip demonstrating the golden radio voice involving small talk about drug and alcohol problems. Ted Williams had more than 13 million page views in less than 48 hours. Soon after, on January 5, the Cleveland Cavilers contacted Williams in order to hopefully work out a deal knowing rumors that the NFL, Ohio Credit Union League, and MTV possibly gave Williams a deal.
On Thursday, January 6, Ted Williams appeared on the Today Show with a haircut where he promised himself and his fans that he will not go back to his old ways and that God is on his side. Later on, Ted was reunited with his mother where the sparks went off with tears of joy where she begged him to not disappoint her again. Williams’ life is on a non stop roller coaster ride now—constantly recording for different commercials radios and shows.
The big question now—Is Ted Williams going to back to his old ways with the drugs and the alcohol? Recently seen on the Dr. Phil show it was announced that Williams has agreed to enter a rehab facility after a long one on one talk with Dr. Phil.“If Ted is ever going to get better, he’s got to be honest with himself and admit he’s addicted to drugs and alcohol,” Dr. Phil said in a statement. “I’ve told him it’s not going to be easy and it’s going to take a lot of hard work. It might be a long journey for him, but this is a big step in the right direction.”
