“The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” is an American comedy late night show that airs only on weeknights at 11:30 p.m. The show originates from the G.E building at the 30 Rockefeller center in New York produced by Broadway video and Universal television with the theme of a jazzy overtone
Jimmy was born on September 19th in Brooklyn; New York and started his TV career in 1998 where he quickly became an audience favorite. Jimmy is also a singer, musician and a producer. He plays in the movies Taxi, Anything Else, Fever Pitch, Whip it and Almost Famous.
On February 17th The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon aired for the first time on NBC network. It was a special night for Jimmy as he took to the stage to show off his acting skills.
The show received several positive reviews and averaged about a 3.8 rating in adults 18-49 years old and 11.3 million viewers. One critic revealed “it’s more sweet than sassy.” Another critic wrote “Fallon is an energetic person who is the king of kindness.” The show was given mostly good critiques. However some critics do feel Fallon reimburse in terms of humility. The show also stars Steve Higgins and the band called “The Roots”.
The show starts off with his daily monologue which consists of making fun of celebrity’s lifestyle, s headline news report and an introduction of his band, “The Roots”.
As we know Jimmy Fallon is a hilarious comedian who likes to make the crowd applaud with his amazing jokes. In some of Fallon’s episodes he acts as a teenage girl, sara, whom talks to her best friend in her room. And every time she talks with her best friend she always brings in the phrase “ Eww”! Through almost every episode there are celebrities that dress up as Sara’s best friend like Channing Tatum and Will Ferrell.
Through some of the shows there were some great moments and some were so not great. Some of the great moments in the show is when Sara’s best friend, played by Channing Tatum, tells her about going to the One Direction concert with her dad and Sara says “Eww” as per usual. There weren’t many bad moments, the show was hilarious and included a series of celebrities. Overall, Fallon has great sense of humor and knows how to make the crowd laugh.
The show has been a great success. If you would like anymore information about the show it’s on NBC where you can watch several shows that he starrs in like Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and Saturday Night Live. I would personally like to see more of his hilarious acting skills in his episodes that he brings to the stage. It’s worth staying up all night to watch.
