Naturally summer is the palate of music festivals. There is one specifically that has been occurring since 1995.

Vans Warped Tour is a traveling rock festival that tours in the United States annually each summer. It is the longest traveling and running touring music festival. The biggest sponsor is the skateboard shoe company, Vans.

Each year the tour dates and locations are released in December. The band list is kept unrevealed until the Spring of the following year as well as the tickets. This year band release date and ticket sales were unrevealed on March 22nd at 10 am.

The first 500 tickets included a 50-song Warped compilation download and the tickets are the cheapest. Within minutes of going on sale the price went up, meaning the tickets were going fast.

The tour is making 41 stops this year. The first show kicks off June 22nd in Anchorage, Alaska. For its last show the tour will travel the last show to Portland, Oregon on August 13th.

It will be making three stops in California.  The first one will be on August 5th in San Diego, the second on August 6th in Mountain View, and the last will be on August 7th in Los Angeles.

The Vans Warped Tour 2015 had an exceptional band line up. Hardcore bands like Attila, Asking Alexandria, and Being As An Ocean played as well as other bands. Artist like Beba Rexha, who sings along G-Eazy on the famous hit single Me, Myself and I, also performed. Riff Raff was also one of the performing artist. One of the biggest band that year was Pierce the Veil who is known for their post hardcore music and their good looks.

This years band list is every pop punk kids dream. Bands such as Knuckle Puck, Mayday Parade, Real Friends, State Champs, The Story So Far, and Yellowcard will be performing.

These bands are popular for their profound lyrics. Although they differ greatly in pop music, their style is based of power pop. Many of their music is typically there for you when you just want to get away or when enduring a heartbreak.

One of this biggest band playing this year will be Sleeping With Sirens, whose music is very similar to last years posthardcore band Pierce the Veil.

In every location there are 7 stages. There is Journeys Left Foot Stage, Journeys Right Foot Stage, Monster Energy North, Monster Energy South, Poseidon Stage, Cyclops Stage, and Full Sail Stage.

Each stage is varied according to the bands and genre. The Journeys stage show the most awaited bands, whereas the Monster Stage will show the hardcore screamo bands like Crown The Empire or Chelsea Grin.
