The Pitman HS class of 2009 had very exciting results when survived about their future plans. The Roaring Times surveyed all seniors, yet 87% of seniors returned surveys. The surveys and anecdotal evidence from teachers indicated that all students attending four schools responded. If we are missing any data, it is most likely students who are attending one of the two local junior colleges. The results also do not indicate last minute changes due to poor grades and money issues.
Pitman is sending 135 students to thirty different four-year colleges. The largest number (70) will be attending CSU Stanislaus.

Over 200 graduates will be attending eight different junior colleges, while nineteen will be attending trade schools and nineteen will be entering the military.
The statistics indicate that 28% of the seniors are attending a four-year school, but the survey indicates 38% were accepted at one, as some are attending junior colleges instead. Thus 85% of the senior class, with the knowledge that not all returned surveys are going to college, a trade school, or entering the military.
