When it comes to the mobile market, there seems to be an eternal competition between Apple and Samsung. But now Samsung corporates have once again hired the stakes against Apple by doing the impossible: adding a new addition to the already successful Galaxy series.
The newly introduced Galaxy S IV is a far stretch from the iPhone 5 that was introduced last year. The Samsung Galaxy S4 delivers a pretty large 5.0-inch Super AMOLED display with a full HD resolution (1080 x 1920) and a pixel density of 441 pixels-per-inch. In a way, the SGS4 offers more of a “Retina Display” than its competitor. In terms of RAM and CPU, the Galaxy S IV boasts a quad-core Snapdragon 600 CPU clocked at 1.9 GHz (in LTE enabled markets) and 2 GB of RAM. The Galaxy S IV has a thirteen mega-pixel rear camera that lets it take some of the most prominent pictures.
So what can we expect from the next iPhone, the iPhone 6 or 5S? One thing is for sure, Apple will seriously have to up their game to compete with the newly introduced Galaxy. The rumor mill does not know if the next iPhone is going to be the iPhone 6 or it its midway predecessor the iPhone 5s. There has been speculation that the 5s is supposed to come out in the beginning months of the summer and the 6 to come out later that year. But as of now, this is not positive as there are other speculations that the 5s will come out in the Summer and the 6 in the opening quarters of next year. Given the iPhone’s history – from the 3G onwards, there’s always been a half-step S model before the next numbered iPhone – so most likely bet on an iPhone 5S first and an iPhone 6 a few months later.
According to techradar.com- the next iPhone might have a boosted memory of up to 128GB as seen early to the new iPod. A bigger 4.8 inch screen with better resolution compared to the iPhone 5. In terms of predecessor, it will most likely contain a quad-core A7 chip and likewise run on iOS 7. and a 13-megapixel sensor that takes up less room without compromising image quality. With the introduction to wireless charging that has not yet gone mainstream, but it has been reported that Apple has filed for the patent. Also, it is rumored that is Apple’s working on plastic cases for its next iPhone, mixing plastic and metal in such a way that the internal metal parts are able to be seen from outside through a special design. It has also been suggested that the next iPhone will come in three size variants.
It is still uncertain about what the next iPhone will look like and pack internally. But one thing is sure, it will have to be the next big thing compared to the Galaxy SIV and its prior predecessors.
