Each and every year, people discover new ways of improving technology. Ever since the 1700’s, technology has just been constantly advancing through time and ages. The thought of what other forms of technology this world could reveal could leave one to think about how the world has lost control of its independence and free-will over the years that pass us by.
In the year 2017, getting microchip implants will be mandatory for all human beings. As the movement of the microchips is already in progress, a small radio identification chip will be inserted into a person’s wrist, hand, and arm through what is known to be a hypodermic needle in the same way they would inject a vaccine. The microchip will have a code or identifying number which can be used for multiple resolutions.
The reasons behind the microchip are to make things easier to do, and to express a sense of security for all people as far as illegal immigration goes. For instance, if someone does not have the microchip, the government will be able to identify them in an instant. People will no longer have to carry several credit cards or forms of identification. Just with one swipe of a hand will be able to identify someone.
Going to an airport, the first thing they do is ask for passports and ID’s. With this new invention of technology, there will be no more showing of passports or driver’s license to a cop when getting pulled over, thus making transportation easier for everyone.
As Lain Gillespie states, “RFID microchips are essentially a unique ID embedded in your body, and, as we know, numbers can be stolen and data can be hacked.”
Identity theft could once and for all be abolished, no more stressing over getting your credit cards, or cash stolen. The ID number that is sent through the implant will be able to identify personal details, addresses and health records.
Society will first need to open up and get used to this new form of technology. Older people might reject the idea, but most kids and teens get the feeling of being “with it”. Some teenagers would tend to see the bright side of being chipped, which is opening doors with a wave of their hand.
“Eventually, once the concept is generally accepted by the majority, it will become our new ‘social security number,’” says writer Mac Slavo.
Sooner or later it will be a requirement to have the chip in order to do small things such as make a purchase at your local convenient store.
This world will soon leave us with surprises as it makes its way to a better future due to technology, whether we like it or not. The world as we know it is full of advancing technology and people are getting used to the idea of technology changing while each and every one of us lives apart of this eternity.
