Aftermath of the Inauguration

Aftermath of the Inauguration

After a year of deep rooted electoral propaganda and fake rumors from all parts of the country, the inauguration of president elect Donald Trump has finally presented itself. On January 20th, 2017 the new Commander in Chief swore his allegiance to the United States of America and professed his oath to follow through with his earlier political remarks.

Tensions could not be tighter after twelve o’clock noon eastern time on 20th of January 2017. President Trump sparked the tinder and set the fire aflame after he presented the ideals he intends to pursue during his next four year in the White House.

Many radical liberals and professional rioters, once again, came out to make their weak voice heard. In Washington D.C. over 200 rioters were arrested for felony rioting in their march down Columbia. Hundreds of thousands of women around the country professed that their rights will not be met by the forty-fifth president.

Six police officers were injured and 217 protesters were arrested after a Friday morning of so-called, peaceful protests and coordinated disruptions of the inauguration giving way to ugly downtown clashes.

Targeting great examples of American Capitalism, baseball bats and chunks of pavement were used to completely shatter the windows of a Bank of America as well as a McDonald’s. Multiple cars were set on fire as well as garbage cans used to burn President Trump’s trademark red baseball caps stating, “Make America Great Again” on the front.

These outrageous acts of violence, some may even say terrorism, pose the question of “what is really going down now?” What happened to peaceful protest? What rights do these people not have and what rights are being violated?

These people need to accept Donald J. Trump as their new president and non-violently overlook the peaceful transfer of power from Obama to Trump.

Many people on the streets in protest did not even know what they were protesting. The infuriated citizens need to accept the situation as it is and give this man a chance. Why would you want to hate somebody that has your homeland in his most vested interests?

Give the new President Trump a chance to accomplish something he swore an oath to pursue. “Make America Great Again!”
