Disney is known for making each and every character unique and special in there own way. Starting from there best character traits to their worst insecurities.

It will be a first for Disney channel to have there first LGBTQ character starting Payton Elizabeth Lee acting as Andy Mack in the show Andy Mack. It is said Andy Mack is a show where teens are trying to figure out who they and accepting one another like who they are, where they come from and even their sexual orientation.

The show Andy Mack has many plot twists in between. Many people have actually wondered if it was a Disney Channel show. It is said that that was what they were aiming for, something new and different. The reason it is more different from any other show is because the content is very realistic to actual life and the struggles that one goes through.

Andy Mack is about a girl who is trying to fit in and figure out who she is. Everything changes when her sister comes back with the surprise that she is actually her birth mom, and her so called mom is actually her grandmother. Andy goes through all this with both her best friends at her side Buffy (girl) Cyrus Goodman (boy) and her long time crush John (boy). Altho Andy has a crush on John, Cyrus soon comes to realize he has feelings for him to and confesses to Buffy that he is “different” referring to him being gay.

In the scene  Buffy is extremely comforting and accepting on the feelings Cyrus has for Johna. Although Cyrus has a girlfriend he has planned to tell her but not quite yet. He continues his quest on self discovery with both his friends Andy and Buffy.

Disney  was Named on the Top Ten  Most Socially Responsible Company. Disney acquired this award by being able to touch the hearts of many people worldwide starting from movie theaters to your couch at home. Disney movies have continued to demonstrate an abundant amount of people how to spread kindness, help those in need, love yourself and others around you.
