Yes, it’s Esmeralda Lopez presenting her continuous debut throughout her life! Leaving glamorous stardom and the Hollywoodlights, this internationally renowned Thespian has set her sight on making the world her one and only stage. Esmeralda’s journeys always begin with the necessity to quench a thirst of knowledge and success; her journey in settling near Turlock to proceed with her high school education at John H. Pitman High Schoolwas not the exception. Settling herself down and planning to achieve her goals was her primary concern, confessed the star. “I’m someone who cares, not only about herself, but also about those I love and the immense world that surrounds me. I’m truly a person who loves going big, who truly wants to make a difference when I become an adult. I see my education as a gateway to greatness!”
Our beloved Esmeralda loves school, and admits that writing, psychology, mathematics, Spanish, and film have been her favorite courses throughout her high school years. She also admits to taking the most rigorous course work available, never forgetting her goal of attending the Ivy League of her dreams one day. This extraordinary high school senior is involved in Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), and has been an active member since her sophomore year. Her love for business and enterprise has enabled her to succeed in her FBLA career, for she is California’s FBLA Central Section Public Relations Officer. With a surreal gleam of pure excitement in her eyes, she exclaimed “I am extremely happy that I have the opportunity of serving the entire central valley for FBLA, and that I’m continuously progressing through my business education!” Her passion for education and business, however, has not erased her truly creative and artistic side. Esmeralda continues to love the theater, and has developed a more mature interest in the film industry itself. She continues to enjoy dance, art, and especially music. “I listen to all sorts of music! I’m open-minded, and it all depends on my mood. Truth is, my life can change a lot from hour to hour. That’s why I simply love good music, music whose rhythm I can identify with or helps me get out of a negative zone.” She also continues to love satire, politics, economics, and over all, big thinking!
Esmeralda aspires to major in business, film studies, or economics, and hopefully one day become a very successful women who brings about help and change to those who need it in this world. “I don’t know where life is taking me, and sometimes I wonder how I will truly get there; all I know is that I’m going to give it my all and that I will get there. No matter who or what tries to bring me down, all I can say is, ‘watch me’.”
