On October 6th 2010, the Pitman Volleyball team squared off against the tough and mean Buhach Colony. As the Pitman Pride ran out onto the court, the crowd could feel the intensity that Maci Murdock was pumping her teammates up with. The first game that was played ended with a score of 25-23 with Buhach Colony winning. The second game had the same result. Buhach Colony won 25-22. Pitman was frustrated as they went into the third game. They were winning 6-0 in the first few minutes of the third game. After 15 minutes of play in the third game Buhach Colony rallied to bring the score to 11-6. Pitman came back after that and tied the game 24-24, the Pride ended up winning the third game 26-24 thanks to a magnificent spike to score the last point. They came into game 4 excited and had more intensity than anyone has ever seen, wanting to win the game badly. The games score was tied 2-2, Pitman was ready for this last game and to take the win, but so was Buhach. They were incredibly pumped up and ready to win. It was not an easy game. The Pride kept attacking but so did Buhach. Bump..set..spike and over the net over and over again. Pitman tied the 5th and final game 15-15. The pressure was on but the Pride rose to the challenge and they came away with the win 17-15. Pitman is now in a three way tie for first place in the CCC standings.
