As the weather gets colder, we find ourselves spending less time doing outdoor activities and more time at the movie theater. This season has brought some new movies that people have been waiting all year to see.
Due Date
Due Date is a comedy about a man who needs to catch a flight home because his wife is due to have their baby in just a few days, but ends up on a cross-country trip with a wacky man and his dog. This movie stars Robert Downy Jr. from Iron Man and Zach Galifianakis from The Hangover. Rated R, releases on November 5.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1
Harry Potter is an action/adventure movie about a boy, Harry, seeking Voldemort’s destruction – the Horcruxes with the help of his two friends, Hermione and Ron. Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint return for this installment of the Harry Potter series. Rated PG-13, releases on November 19.
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader
The Chronicles of Narnia is an action/adventure movie, in 3D, featuring an ocean voyage on the Dawn Treader for Lucy, Edmund, and Eustace, who are joined by Prince Caspian. This movie stars Ben Barnes, Skander Keynes, and Georgie Henley. Releases on December 10.
TRON: Legacy
While investigating his father’s disappearance, Sam gets stuck in a video game universe, where he finds that his father has been trapped there for 20 years. The two characters go through the cyber universe ruthlessly trying to find their way home. Jeff Bridges and Garrett Hedlund play the father and the son in the movie. Releases on December 17.
How Do You Know
How Do You Know is a comedy/drama about 27-year-old Lisa Jorgenson, who finds herself caught in the middle of a love triangle with her current boyfriend and a man she is reunited with. Reese Witherspoon, Paul Rudd, and Owen Wilson star in this comedy. Releases on December 17.
