This summer is a great time for video gaming! There are many games coming out that have been much anticipated all year. The wait will be worth it as the suspense builds; the games seem better and better.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution is a game from Eidos Montreal that serves as a prequel for the first Deus Ex game, an open-ended sci-fi storytelling classic. This game will be released in August of 2011. The game follows up on Deus Ex: Invisible War. In this sci-fi game, the main character Adam Jensen fights to find answers with his superhuman powers. As the player goes deeper into the story they find out what the scientists want to do and why. This game will be released for the PS3 and Xbox360 systems.
Duke Nukem Forever is being revived by developer Gearbox Software. The setup for the game is a new classic for the old-school action shooter. After saving the world, Duke became the most beloved, wealthy, and powerful figure on the planet. And so the game begins with him relaxing in the penthouse of his Vegas casino finally playing the video game adaptation of his heroic deeds, which has taken over a decade to create. As aliens try to dupe the world’s defenses and destroy its existence, Duke Nukem must fight to protect his home. This game is going to be released on the Xbox360.
inFamous II is to be released in June of 2011. inFamous II is going to be released on only the PS3 and is developed by Sucker Punch Productions. Summer is the season of superheroes. Cole MacGrath, the protagonist from the first inFamous, a surprisingly popular action-adventure, will run around the post-apocalyptic city of New Marais as he searches for more information regarding the First Sons’ technology. This superhero has electrical traits and gains new abilities as the story progresses. Cole will combat the Corrupted and Militia, explore New Marais, and learn about himself, Kessler, and The First Sons along the way while gaining new abilities to face the Beast.
The Classic: Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is hitting the markets this summer. The original Nintendo game was first released on the Nintendo 64. Zelda has been taken by Ganandorf again and Link must fight his way to save his princess love. The graphics have been dramatically enhanced and now the player can kick Ganandorf’s butt in 3D! Relive the epic story of Link as he uses the magic of the Orcarina of Time.
