Pitman high school has many talented musicians enrolled in band, orchestra, and choir. This week The Roaring Times has selected senior Caitlin Cox to be musician of the week. This is due to her hard work and skill.

1.)    What is your favorite type of music?

“Country and pop. I love country because it’s down to earth, and I love pop because it has a great beat.”

2.) What part do you sing?

“I sing first Soprano.”

3.)    When did you start singing?

“I started singing in the fifth grade, and this year I will be receiving an award from the Turlock school district.”

4.)    How often do you practice?

“I practice here at Pitman, but I love singing so I just sing all the time.”

5.    What inspires you as a musician?

“I’m inspired by Taylor Swift because she is energetic and outgoing.”
