Black Mirror is a critically acclaimed Netflix original series that originally aired in 2011 on Britain’s Channel 4. After a second season aired in 2013 the series would not see any screen time until it was commissioned to air on Netflix in 2016 with it’s largest season so far. After it’s massively success return on Netflix it was announced that the series’ fourth season would be streamable sometime this year.

Black Mirror is an anthology series, every episode dives into a new scenario for the viewer’s minds to wrap around and dissect as the series explores the dark and twisted possibilities that our future holds. If one episode doesn’t captivate your attention then another one certainly will.

Due to the series’ themes and episode format it has been likened by many to the classic 1960’s television series “The Twilight Zone.” That’s quite the high praise from anyone that enjoys the odd and unsettling aspects of science fiction. This praise is certainly not without warrant as each episode does wonders to disturb the minds of it’s viewers.

For anyone out there that has not watched the show it is highly suggested that you go watch it when you have the time. Seasons one and two have three episodes each and the third season has six episodes, so along with the Christmas special there will be thirteen episodes in total to watch before the start of season four. So get to watching!
