Modern Family Returns for a Second Season

The Emmy Award winning show, Modern Family is back! Yes everyone, that means another season of Modern Family and more awards to come. If you did not know, season one was a huge success. I believe it’s out on DVD already so go out there and buy that season now because you’re going to want to catch up to season two.
            Rico Rodriguez, who plays a little Colombian boy named Manny Delgado on the show said in an interview, “We didn’t think we were going to win. When we were invited to the Emmy Awards we set our expectations low because if we set our expectations high and didn’t win we would probably be a little upset.”  Little did they know, they were the lucky ones nominated for more than ten awards that night and competed with the top dogs in the television world. Most people can relate to this television show because all families are different in every unique way but each family has a little spark, which unites them like a knot, and that is the secret ingredient to a modern family’s success. Others can relate to it because the family is incredibly funny without even trying or perhaps because they have been through some of the same problems. What I like about Modern Family, besides being extremely hilarious, is that at the end of each episodes there is a lesson. I find this neat because it reminds me that one of the most important things in life is family and the characters never forget that.
            Every Wednesday night at 9 o’clock get the remote and go to ABC (channel 10) to watch Modern Family. Take my word for it. You will not regret it and you are going to cry for more.
