Pitman High school has many students enrolled in photography. The Roaring Times has selected junior, Felipe Laiton, as photographer of the week. Laiton has demonstrated amazing artistic skill and creativity in photography.
Laiton started taking pictures at the age of thirteen. When his dad had bought a camera, he started messing around with it and taking random pictures. Over time Laiton has been getting more proficient in the field of photography.
Even though he likes taking pictures of different things, Laiton’s favorite thing to photograph is sports because that is what he actively participates in.
When questioned about what inspires him as a photographer Laiton says “making something look different so when someone else sees it they see a moment that is cherished.”
Photographers have different points of view, but when asked what does he like best about photography, Laiton response was “making something that doesn’t look special, look special.”
