If one wasn’t aware, back in about 2007, Justin Bieber was found on YouTube and gained instant popularity by posting videos of himself singing at local singing competitions for his friends and family to see. What Bieber did not know is after posting these videos is that he would later become one of the most well-known pop stars in the world.

Bieber is now coming back into the music industry after having three difficult and well-publicized years filled with heartbreak and controversy, throughout which he started to find himself as a person. He is coming back and dropping his new album, “Purpose” on November 13th.

This album will follow his five other ones, which include, “My World”, “My World 2.0”, “Believe”, “Under the Mistletoe” and “Journals.”

Bieber kicked off his album with an interview with Ryan Seacrest where he announced a thirty day countdown for the album’s single “What Do You Mean” which was released on August 28th. This countdown featured different celebrities such as Kendall Jenner, Ed Sheeran, Ruby Rose, and Shaquille O’Neal all holding up pictures of the number of days left until the single came out in their social media posts.

As if this already didn’t hype up Bieber’s new music enough, he also put the album on preorder on iTunes, teamed up with many artists around the world who painted the titles of the eighteen songs off of his album onto the walls of streets in different cities, and posted pictures of them on Instagram to release all of the song names.

The album is expected to have other artists on the tracks such as Big Sean, Travis Scott, Halsey, Nas, and even a special remix with Ariana Grande if you preorder the album.

Although he is trying to keep as much information about the album a secret until it comes out, Bieber has told the public that he has gradually been working on this album throughout the past three years of his life and has put much of his emotions and experiences into his songs.

“I’m self-expressing with this album. I can’t skip on the moments that were dark, the moments that were happy, the ex-girlfriend stuff. It makes it real. I want my music to be inspiring.”

Justin Bieber has also gone on to tell interviewers that he believes that this is the best time to release his album and that he is overall happy with the place he is at creatively with his music.
