Marvel seems to have a never ending list of superheroes, and almost half of these heroes don’t have their own movie or haven’t appeared in any Marvel franchises.

However, Deadpool was honored with his very own movie that hit the theaters on February 12, 2016.

Even if action/superhero movies aren’t someone’s thing, people can go purely to admire Ryan Reynolds flawless physique. Well, at least until his face gets deformed.

Deadpool is actually Wade Wilson but, like almost every hero he has to get revenge and his identity can’t be shown.

Wade Wilson is a mutant like all of the other X-men but he wasn’t born with his mutation. He was given his mutation after being diagnosed with cancer. He signed up to try and become a superhero. Even if he doesn’t truly consider himself a superhero at all, he is seen as a potential hero by his sidekicks.

Culosis and Mega Sonic Teenage Warhead are Deadpool’s sidekicks. Originally they try to convince him to join the X-men team but instead fight side-by-side and help him out of any and all trouble they might be found in.

Since Deadpool doesn’t consider himself a hero, much less a superhero, he doesn’t consider the movie a superhero movie. Instead it’s closer to love story between Wade Wilson and his love interest Vanessa. With a very good love story, Vanessa and Wade form a very complete puzzle.

The background story with Wade and Vanessa is very moving and adds the perfect amount of mushy love to the movie. Everyone expected it to be all about murder and deforming Ryan Reynolds face. But of course, Marvel wouldn’t let down their fans and made “Deadpool” everything their fans were expecting.

The movie has some very heavy comedy and has a few intense moments. The action scenes are grade A with a wide selection of fighting, swords, bullet count downs, and name calling.

With a writer like Stan Lee, nothing less could be expected. Stan Lee, being the creator of most of marvels heroes, absolutely knows what he got himself into when he wrote the hero that stands out from the rest. Most of Marvel’s heroes are out of this world or are from a different time period. But Deadpool proves that powers aren’t something that are handed down or born with and that sometimes you just get tricked into becoming a hero.

Since Deadpool wasn’t actually handed down his powers, he was given his power through a bit of a physical mutation. And at this part all of Ryan Reynolds fangirls began to cry because of his deformation. Luckily, after seeing his deformation, Wade Wilson decided to become Deadpool.

Overall “Deadpool” was a great movie with many twists and turns, and the audience has given positive feedback.
