Donald Trump is a wealthy and powerful man. It seems his only interests include money and “making America great again,” but who knew such a serious, seemingly superficial man couldn’t resist the power of Adele.

As a runner up for presidential candidate, Donald Trump spends a lot of money to get his voice heard, which includes rallies, and apparently money wasn’t really necessary to be recognized by famous recording artist, Adele.

Adele came back into fame with the release of her newest album, 25. Her popularity increased and all around the world people seem to be obsessing over her music. The singer seemed calmed and neutral through all the fame and publicity she was getting until she discovered something not so great.

Adele discovered that Trump was playing her music in his political rallies, but what is so upsetting to the celebrity?

“Adele has not given permission for her music to be used for any political campaigning,” a rep for a singer said in the statement to the independent after the fans criticized Trump for using the songs “Rolling in the Deep” and “Skyfall.”

The artist is trying to ban the candidate from using her songs in his rallies; she doesn’t want to be a part of anything political. She’s not just only banning Donald Trump from using her songs, but also many other presidential candidates.

Despite all the controversy of admirers of the singer to Trump, he is still careless and is continuing to play her music. Legally, Trump isn’t doing anything wrong and actually has the right to continue to do so. A Donald Trump spokesperson confirms that the business mogul has paid the required fees to license Adele’s music in campaigning rallies.

The singer clarifies that she isn’t personally supporting the campaign.

As much Donald Trump is a big fan of Adele, Adele is not a fan of the republican candidate. The female singer was not the only one annoyed by him.

REM frontman, Michael Stipe, released a strongly worded statement after Trump used his band’s music, “you sad, attention-grabbing, power-hungry little man. Do not use our music or my voice for your moronic charade of a campaign.”

Joining the list of musicians, who reprimand Trump for using their music, are Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler and Neil Young. These singers have demanded the presidential candidate to no involve their music as part of his campaign.

Many of them feel as if they are being used for their fame to add good publicity to Trump. They aren’t very fond of that, considering the fact the candidate doesn’t ask permission or let them know. They now have another reason why they don’t support the candidate.

It seems that Donald Trump won’t be getting the celebrity support after all. Many are disturbed by Trump’s behavior towards this issue, showing no sign of respects towards the artists’ opinions.

Adele as well as the other unhappy singers being involved in Trump’s rallies can’t really do much about it due to the fact that he has the legal rights. They’ll just have to move past it by writing a song about it.
