Having being born in the very late 90’s, most kids still consider themselves “90’s kids.” This term relates to many different things that happened during their childhood that is now labeled as “only 90’s kids will remember” Despite this fact, many kids born in the early 2000s still experienced many of the same things.

One huge role in the “only 90’s kids will remember” quote, is 90’s cartoons. The following are some of the best/ most loved childhood cartoons.

Rugrats- Is the second longest running animated series on TV. The show is based on a group of babies and toddlers who work together to face their struggles, all while being tormented by the oldest, troublemaker child, Angelica. The show promotes family love and shows the struggles of raising children in a humorous manner.

Catdog- Is a show full of chaos. The main character/ characters are as the title says, a cat and a dog, but the twist is that they are one connected animal with a cat on one end and a dog on the other. The focus of the show is pure goofiness hence why most kids love the show, but parents don’t see a reason for it.

The Flintstones- Is a show surrounding the life of two couples who live in the town of Bedrock. It is very stereotypical as the men go out and work, come home and drink, and enjoy bowling; and the women are stay at home housewives.

Looney Tunes- A show based on all of the most famous Warner Bros characters such as Bugs Bunny, Porky Pig, Tweety Bird, Daffy Duck, etc. as they work together to fit in. The show is meant more specifically for older children due to the discrete levels of sexual content. However, luckily it is usually too complex for children to understand it in the first place. Aside from that, the show is humorous to get children’s attention and has a very sweet and loving side to it.

Ed Edd and Eddy- Is a show about three teenage kids who constantly plan to try and scam their friends out of money so they can buy jawbreakers with it. The show is very kid friendly due to its humor. There are many theories about the deeper meaning of this show that really pull the attention of the audience who used to watch this show when they were little.
