Its Only Up From Here: Possible 2020 Presidential Candidates

In result to the 2016 Presidential elect, talk of the 2020 election has already come up. Many not agreeing with President elect Donald Trump and his ideas on how to run or country has angered people into protests and some already looking forward to the next election in 2020.

Potential candidate Elizabeth Warren member of the Democratic Party is expected to run for president in the next election. Warren is currently the U.S. Senator for Massachusetts.

In the article Elizabeth Warren U.S. Senator for Massachusetts, it says she is credited for original thinking and political courage.

Warren didn’t have a luxurious childhood as a matter of fact, she got a job at the age of nine years old. She is most recognized for her stance on the middle class. Warren speaks out for those of the middle class and small businesses.

Another possible candidate is Cory Booker member of the Democratic Party. Cory Booker is the U.S. Senator of New Jersey.

On the site Cory Booker for U.S. Senator, it stated, “ A news profile captured Cory’s approach to serve people across New Jersey. ‘I want to be a different kind of senator. I want to push for real change on substantive issues, advocating for industry and jobs. But I want to create a record of doing, figuring out, how to replicate the best ideas… as a senator.”

Booker also focuses on the middle class and it’s economical stance. For New Jersey, he has been working on reforming the criminal justice system, creating new jobs, improving economic opportunity and hoping New Jersey recover from hurricane Sandy.

According to thefederalist.com, Booker would make a great president because “he gets things done” and is easy to get along with.

The last often-talked about is senator Kirsten Gillibrand of New York, as a potential candidate.

In “A Voice for the People of New York” it stated that Gillibrand’s main priority is to rebuild the economy by creating good-paying jobs and allowing small businesses to get loans. She has spoken out on national security and strengthening our armed services.

If she were to run for presidency, by 2020 she will have improved and it may help her get the that’s the votes she needs.

The 2016 presidential election has the people of America already looking forward to the next term and wondering who could best suit our country as a leader.
