It’s a bad day for former New York Knicks basketball player Charles Oakley.

He was arrested on February 8th 2017 when the Knicks played the Clippers. Apparently Oakley was sitting very close to the Knicks team owner James Dolan. Oakley was yelling at James Dolan. The security guards approached him and told him to stop. Oakley refused and was ejected from the arena after shoving security personnel. He then was arrested and charged with three counts of misdemeanor assault and criminal trespassing.

Charles Oakley bought a ticket to the Knicks vs Clippers game on February 8th 2017. He then sat courtside by team owner James Dolan. He was two rows behind James Dolan. He proceeded to yell at Dolan.He continued until security approached and asked why he was sitting so close to Dolan. He then would be demanded that he leave MSG. Oakley refused security tried to talk to him. Oakley shoved two security personnel and was then taken and arrested.The NYPD arrested on two charges. He is currently out of jail and is banned from MSG.

The Knicks responded that Oakley used ‘’cruel and abusive behavior’’. They talked about him very rudely. Oakley said ‘’I shouldn’t have put my hands on anyone’’. Oakley is banned from MSG by Dolan. Oakley played on the Knicks from 1988 -1998 and has played in the NBA for 19 years. He helped the Knicks become one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference.

Oakey is no longer invited to team function or ever coped tickets to any of the Knicks games.   The manner in which Mr. Oakley has been treated is troubling and he intends to pursue all legal rights and remedies he may have,” attorney David Z. Chesnoff said in a statement. We hope to resolving this matter.Oakley is currently trying to take legal action against them. Bad day isn’t it Mr.Oakley.Oakley certainly need to watch who he fights with cause it might cause trouble. Many people are starting to stereotype black men. This is starting to catch up to many. Charles Oakley is trying make peace with Dolan but it is not working. Oakley states ‘’He won’t even shake my hand’’. Oakley waited to talk to Dolan but he is rejected. Oakley is banned from ever showing up.Patrick Ewing wouldn’t have done the same thing as Oakley. Considering they played on the same team for 10 years.
