Teacher Spotlight: Mrs. Campbell

Hello Roaring Times Readers! This year’s very first teacher spotlight is welcoming back Mrs. Campbell! 

  • What did you do before coming to Pitman?
    • “Before I started teaching I went to school at Stanislaus and taught for three years at Turlock High School. Then I transferred here.”
  •  What subject do you teach?
    • I teach ERWC (for Seniors) and Honors English 9 (Freshmen).
  • What do you hope to achieve this year?
    • “I hope that I prepare my seniors as best as I can for what comes after high school and prepare my freshmen for Honors English 10 next year.”
  • What do you like to do in your free time?
    • “I enjoy being outdoors, spending time with my family, cooking, and running.”
  • If you could have dinner with anyone (dead or alive) who would it be? 
    • “My mom since she passed away.”
  • What is your favorite holiday?
    •  “Thanksgiving.” (she said this instantly!)
  • Which dish is your favorite from any restaurant?
    • Sesame crusted tuna from Bistro 234.
  • You just came back to Pitman after being gone, where did you go?
    • “I took a leave of absence to be home with my children and while I was doing that I taught a couple classes at CSU Stanislaus.  The classes taught were Liberal Studies Foundation of Education courses preparing students in their junior and senior years of college earning their Bachelor’s Degree who will be going into teaching.”
