Ms. Insell is a hardworking teacher and is always doing her best to help her students to be successful! She is always very positive and makes the classroom environment very positive. Lastly, she always encourages her students to do good, in and out of the classroom. She is also personally one of my favorite teachers. If you haven’t had the chance to meet her you really should.

I asked Ms. Insell a few questions about herself and this is what she told me:

-What subject do you teach?

“English 9 and English 10.”

-What is your favorite book or books?

The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky, and Harry Potter by J.K.

Rowling.”

-What are things you like learning about?

I like learning about my students, and people in general.”

-What is your favorite sport?

I like watching softball, and football.”

-If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?

“I would like to travel to Greece.”

-What’s on the top of your bucket list?

“Hike the Pacific Crest Trail.”

-Why do you like the subject you teach?

I like teaching English because I get to learn from my students.  Every student has a unique background and when they apply their knowledge to something we are discussing in class, I am able to learn more about the topic, but also about the student. I get to help students understand the world through literature. I get to help each student improve their communication skills and grow as a person.”
