We all have those days where it can unexpectedly suck. it’s okay to have those days. Sometimes we don’t know how to handle these bad days. Well I have some of my useful facts that can help you brighten up your bad day.

Let’s say you walk into school your morning is already horrible, stressful, and all you think about is wanting to leave.  Those are the days when you just don’t have energy, or want to be there. Well, the first step you want to make is to eat (snacks). If it’s before or during school. Food is always the solution to making you feel better, it’s also really beneficial to us. By eating a snack, it can boost up your energy even by a little. It could eventually keep you distracted and make you forget about any negative things.

Next step, accept the fact that you are having a bad day. By doing that, you can move on and accept what’s been dealt with. Plus YOU can control the outcome of your day. For example, throughout the day, continue repeating positive responses to yourself. Also try reminding yourself not to waste another hour with negativity as it’ll continue making your day sad. Raktwist quotes  “Kindness can make a bad day good, and a good day better.”

Having friends can help boost your day, especially when you see your best friend across campus, it can be an exciting feeling. Talking to your friend(s) about how you could help makes you feel better and forget your bad morning. Not just your friends, teachers or campos could sometimes throw some positivity towards you. Plus, you never know if someone is feeling the same, so you’ve made their day just by talking to them.

Say no to all negativity around you. If there is someone around you who is toxic don’t talk to them, as mean as it sounds. People who are toxic could bring negativity towards you. Try staying away from social media. For example social media could bring you down with negative quotes, or a mean text. And that is why social media could sometimes get to you.

Try making yourself laugh. Making yourself giggle a little can help you realize that your day doesn’t have to be so down. If you can’t get yourself to laugh than watch funny memes, or an actual funny comedian. The point is to try to make yourself smile, because your smile is beautiful. Stand in front of a mirror and smile, and it’ll make your day feel brighter. When smiling at others it could also create a smile on their faces. #spread positivity.

This might also be random but doing kind things for strangers will make you feel really good through the inside. Trust me on this one. By helping others, complementing their new haircut, or their outfits, that shall help you feel joy. Like I’ve said earlier in the article, these “strangers” could also be going through bad mornings as well, it’s always nice to see a smile on their faces. Hannah, a lovely junior, decided to share her thoughts and here’s what she said; “ Writing letters once a week has helped me distress my mind.”

Find the lesson. You’ve reached the end of the day you either made your day better by following my steps or it didn’t work out. Either way it’s always good to find out what you did wrong throughout the day, kind of like taking notes. Then your day shouldn’t seem like such a waste!
