Shoe Reselling

Shoe+Reselling

Shoe reselling is pretty popular right now. Most sites allow you to do shoe resell like Ebay, Goat Stock X, and more. There are positives and negatives on both sides for the seller and the buyer. Shoe reselling doesn’t have the most open arms when it comes to learning. That’s why I think doing your research on it before getting into it is important.

Some good questions to ask yourself before youtube started is “do i know when it’s the best time to buy?” “Do I know what reps are?” “Do I know reasonable prices?”

Shoe resell happens everywhere and promotes people to sell. More and more people are getting involved in the topic of shoes and shoe resell, which can cause a whole new area in the fashion industry. It also allows opportunities for people to sell something big companies wouldn’t; like 2 for $200 or other deals you could only have with resell.

Shoe reselling has its positives and negatives, but I feel shoe reselling is a good thing because it allows people to make some money off maybe an 8 they have like collecting shoes. Some negatives to shoe resale are effects on the economy. This messes with retail prices and can ruin stock.

Shoe resell is also a big reason for “reps” which are fake shoes that are made to look real for almost 80% cheaper than retail. This is bad because first it’s illegal. This also brings up the question “why would I buy the real thing when I can get almost the same thing for 250 dollars?” They do this by selling bait which sounds something like “you have been drawn for a discount on off white Jordan 4s!” and if I didn’t have knowledge on shoes I would click it and buy it.

Some questions I asked my friend and fellow PHS student Anthony Simmons (11th) about shoe resale:

Do you have an idea on shoe resale and what it is?

“When you collect shoes and sell them for more.”

Do you think shoe reselling is a positive?

“Yes it’s positive for the buyer and the seller.”

Do you know any negatives of shoe reselling?

Simmons said it increases reps and it messes with the shoe company and retail prices.

Would you get into shoe reselling?

“Yes, but I would need more knowledge to know when it’s best to buy and resell.”

I think this interview shows that some people have an idea on shoe resale but don’t understand that it’s a lot more than just buying and selling shoes.
