Strawberry Valentine’s Day Desserts

Strawberry+Valentine%E2%80%99s+Day+Desserts

Celebrate this Valentine’s day season with easy at home desserts you can make with friends, family, or with your person. Here are some recipes made with strawberries and simple at home ingredients.

Chocolate Covered Strawberries:

You will need,

1 cup chocolate chips

Strawberries

Water

Parchment paper

2 Bowls (1 larger than the other)

Directions:

Heat up water either on the stove or in a microwave and place the hot water into a bowl. Use a smaller bowl for chocolate chips and place it into the larger bowl of water and stir until chocolate chips become melted.

This will ensure that the chocolate chips will heat up slowly with stirring without burning because chocolate can burn easily on the stove or in a microwave before being fully melted.

Dip strawberries into melted chocolate and place onto a sheet of parchment paper. You may have to re-stir or place the bowl back into the bowl of water to melt the chocolate fully in between strawberries.

Place the desired amount of strawberries into the fridge before eating.

Mini strawberry pancakes:

You will need,

Pancake mix

Water

Strawberries

Cinnamon

Butter

Directions:

Mix pancake batter to box instructions and finely chop 4-6 strawberries into the batter, according to how many pancakes you make. Mix strawberries and about 1 ½ teaspoon of cinnamon and pancake batter together.

Grease the pan with butter and place spoonfuls of batter into the pan and cook until lightly browned on both sides. Serve with syrup, strawberry jam, or extra strawberries on top.

Strawberry cake pops:

You will need,

Strawberry cake mix

Cream cheese frosting

Strawberries

White chocolate chips

Water

Lollipop sticks

Parchment paper

Directions:

Mix strawberry cake batter and bake according to package direction. Finely chop strawberries into a bowl and blend with cream cheese frosting. Crumble the cake into the bowl and mix with the frosting mixture. Form into balls and place onto lollipop sticks with a bit of chocolate.

Heat up water either on the stove or in a microwave and place hot water into a bowl. Use a smaller bowl for white chocolate chips and place it into the larger bowl of water and stir until the chips become melted.

Dip the cake pops into the melted chocolate and place onto parchment paper. Chill for at least 1 hour before eating.

Happy Valentine’s Day!
