Every year during spring, an all-day musical event is hosted where students from different schools come together and perform for friends and family to watch. This year, the ninth Festival on the Green will be hosted at Pitman High School from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturday, March 16, 2024. Choir, band, and orchestra members from Pitman High School, Turlock High School, Turlock Junior High School, and Dutcher Middle School will perform, along with students in 5th and 6th grades. In total, there will be over 1,400 performers!

In addition to the wonderful music that will be performed, there will be food and drinks available for the performers and visitors to purchase, along with information on vendor booths from each school and different clubs. 

A 9th grade student in her first year of choir at Pitman High School, Gabriella Garcia, expresses her excitement for this event. “I watched my friends perform last year at the Festival on the Green and it was amazing to watch all the people who showed their hard work through music. This inspired me to try choir for the first time and I’m currently enjoying it so much! I look forward to being a performer at the Festival on the Green this year and watching everyone from the other schools. It’s a great event for anyone to watch!”
