Shein makeup is not FDA approved. That speaks a lot for itself as makeup should be FDA approved to ensure efficiency and the security of makeup products. The greenpeace report said according to the tests a total of 15 of the shein products contain hazardous chemicals at levels of concern (32%).

Personally, when considering getting makeup products, I make sure to see if the makeup product is comedogenic. Which is basically when the product makes you more prone to breaking out and getting irritated. Many different skin issues can occur such as black heads, milia, pimples and hormonal acne could get worse.

It is unfortunate for those who aren’t able to afford high-end makeup, as shein makeup is one of the cheaper and affordable choices to buy from. Shein makeup is actually referred to as ¨she-glam¨. I would say the packaging is why a variety of people are interested in buying it. The person who founded it knows very well how to attract customers towards their products as it elevates according to the latest trends.

 I must admit it is pretty but as I said one should take caution to not use most of the products. Another con which causes a debate between people is that shein claims to be ¨cruelty free¨ but some people say otherwise which is concerning to some. Shein also does not offer a wide range of shades of concealers and foundations which is unfair to those who want to buy it. But in the end this is mostly an opinion but in the end, a person will do and buy what they like.
