Dear class of 2024, the busiest time of the year is approaching! All the months of the year have collectively led up to these next two months that will conclude the rest of your senior year. All senior teachers should have a lot of information about the following events as well as papers in their classrooms with the basic information.
Going in chronological order first on March 20th, graduation services was on campus to distribute all graduation items like announcement cards, rings, and more.
April 12th will be the last day to buy prom tickets for either $50 or $45 with an ASB card. You can get them in the activities office before school, during lunch, or after school. Prom will be the following day on April 13th from 8-11pm. Prom will be held at the Grand Oak Banquet Hall and Event Center.
Graduation caps and gowns will be distributed on campus on May 3rd. Disneyland bus sign-ups will be from May 6th – 10th. Make sure to start thinking of your bus groups now.
Commencement Contracts will be available for all seniors on May 6th, the deadline for this will be May 10th. Without these papers being signed by your parent/guardian you will not be able to walk the stage. If you plan on entering a speech to present at graduation you must submit your paper or online version to Veronica in the front office by 3:30 pm on May 6th. From there the speech finalists will be announced on the 9th, the auditions will be on the 13th, and the official speakers will be announced on the 15th.
Yearbooks will be distributed on the May 17th. The long awaited Disneyland Grad Trip will be on May 22nd where the bus will leave Pitman at around 4:00 am and return the following morning at around 8:00 am. Seniors’ last day of school will be on May 24 with the next 3 days being graduation practices. In order to receive your 6 tickets for graduation you must attend ALL 3 practices. Finally, after all that we have the big graduation day on Thursday, May 30th!
