Kendrick vs Drake

Kendrick+vs+Drake

36 year old Kendrick Lamar Duckworth and 37 year old Aubrey Drake Graham have had a little bit of a feud in the past, but only recently did it intensify. The two, in the past, have collaborated  on Drake’s track “Buried Alive Interlude”  Kendrick Lamar’s, “Poetic Justice,” and on A$AP Rocky’s “(Expletive)’ Problems.” As of now, it’s safe to say that these two will not be collaborating on anything anytime soon.

This feud started when J. Cole, on the song “First Person Shooter,” raps “Is it K-Dot? Is it Aubrey? Or me? We the big three like we started a league.” This aroused apprehension to which Kendrick replied in another song, “Like That” with Metro Boomin and Future saying, “It’s just big me.” After that J. Cole decided to respond back, making a diss track to Kendrick called, “7 Minute Drill.” Not long after releasing this track, J. Cole had it taken off various streaming services and spoke up at a concert that he “didn’t have a good feeling” and apologized. After this, Drake released “Push-ups” which came for Kendrick and other various artists such as Rick Ross. Rick Ross then came at Drake in a diss track claiming he had several cosmetic surgeries.

After Drake released another diss track titled “Taylor Made Freestyle” in which he used AI generated voices of Tupac and Snoop Dog to which he ended up taking down when Tupac’s estate threatened legal action. Kendrick dropped “euphoria” after which came at Drake but especially at Drake as a father.  In response Drake posted an infamous scene from “10 Things I Hate About You” when Kat Stratford is reading out why she hates Patrick. Kendrick, in response on May 3rd, dropped “6:16 in L.A.” Kendrick was saying in the song that Drake’s team is not loyal to him. This song was co-produced and co-written by Jack Antonoff who is well known for working with Taylor Swift, who Drake also brought up in a past track “Taylor Made Freestyle.” Then Drake responds by dropping “Family Matters” and he brings up how Kendrick brought his son into this. He accused Kendrick of being the one to make Tupac’s estate send him a cease and desist. Not only that but he also accused Kendrick of physically harming his fiancé Whitney Alford.  In the diss track, Drake claims that their life is not a fairytale. Drake also claims that Kendrick is unfaithful to his fiancé because he proposed back in 2015 and has yet to make her his actual wife. Less than an hour after this, Kendrick released, “meet the grahams” which blew up on TikTok.  The lyrics talk about how Drake is a bad father and is hiding another child, like what he first did with Adonis before getting caught in 2018.  In response Drake posted on his Instagram story saying,  “Can someone find my hidden daughter and send her to me”.

Another thing to point out is Kendrick claiming Drake took Ozempic and had cosmetic work done. Kendrick also raps to Drake’s parents saying that they raised a terrible person and he doesn’t think he should be alive.  In the song cover of “meet the grahams” Drake’s Ozempic prescription is in the top left corner.

The feud is still ongoing and a lot of accusations have been made, however, the only thing Drake has denied is that he doesn’t have a daughter that he has been hiding. With this information, many people believe the rumors to be true considering he hasn’t done much to deny the pedophilia accusations. Most believe this feud won’t end well, and could possibly end with another death, most likely Kendrick Lamar. Most are debating what Drake will do, people view it as only two options: apologize and allow his career to end or take a turn for the worse and end Kendrick’s life as he allegedly did to X.
