Reaching Your Highest Potential

Reaching+Your+Highest+Potential%C2%A0

Have you really ever gone against your own mind? And have you really ever got out of your comfort zone? Well you should know that your own thoughts can keep you from doing what you really want to do.

Usually it’s normal in society to be very comfortable where you are, making the same decisions, and having the same mindset. However, being too comfortable isn’t going to create any change or make any difference within your life. For example, if you worked a job you didn’t for many years and have the same negative mindset, same schedule and thinking that you can only reach that highly in life – that is a negative mindset. We are all humans and we’re all capable of doing anything.

If another person can accomplish something, so can you. The reason why we stay stuck on being so comfortable is because we stay stuck in the past. Instead, you should be focusing on how you’re able to change everything in your life now. Meaning the problems, breakups, losses, and traumatic events. When you keep replaying the past, it makes you feel even worse. Being in the past stops you from reaching your highest potential. Also, stopping you from seeing the best version of yourself. Usually no one can be in your way, but your thoughts and your own self can. You need to separate yourself from your constant thoughts so you can focus on the present and start working on your potential. All you really need is a push and some motivation.

If you really want to reach your highest potential then you’ll need to follow what I’m going to say. Starting off, you will need to get rid of all distractions, social media, watching things that don’t align with your best self. And also getting rid of toxic people in your life to fully focus on what you need to do to reach your goals. The second step is to feed your soul not your mind. This means start paying attention to what you’re feeding your body. Say, if you’re eating junk food all the time and not caring about your health. Do you think the highest version of yourself would allow that? No. When reaching your highest potential you’ll need to focus on the mind, body, and spirit. So feed your body nutritional things and start physical activity. You can even simply just take small walks outside throughout the day. Thirdly, you’ll need to feed the spirit, behind this identity know that you are simply a “spirit” or “being” having a human experience. Meaning you can start meditating to feed your spirit. While meditating you can quiet all the chaos and stress within yourself and quiet the mind.

The biggest part about reaching your potential is that there really is no final destination, because you will always be evolving and learning new lessons either way.  I am going to begin about talking about the mind. The mind is the biggest challenge, the mind as it is also connected to our mental health. While trying to reach your goals you cannot avoid or suppress your hurt. That’s why you will need to heal, healing takes time, be kind to yourself while healing. It’s all a process, let all emotions go, release all your hurt. The way you can begin this healing journey. Is by asking yourself triggering questions for example “What are some things you need to forgive yourself for?”. This type of question is directed towards a healing source called “Shadow work.” Also by journaling everyday about what’s going on in your life and how you feel is another easy step to healing. Begin by starting journal prompts, gratitude, and daily check-ins with yourself. Watch how your life will begin to evolve and change for the better because you chose to do what’s best for you. Just enjoy the journey and go with the flow of life.
