What’s your favorite part about being involved in so many activities?
My favorite part about being involved in so many activities is all the people. I’m always put in different environments and I love being around so many different people who have so many varying interests and personalities.
How do you balance your time between clubs, theater, and sports?
To manage my time I make great use of Pride Time. They are honestly the best blessing Pitman offers. I spend time there to get all my work done and organize everything. I like to keep a calendar with everything I have for the week to stay on top of my work. Plus, I set so many reminders.
What’s been your most memorable experience in theater or sports?
My most memorable experience was being a part of theater; at the end of each show. We have a tradition after the bows to Little Red Wagon our way out of the black box. A chant started by Pitman drama that is now used at many different Pitman events.
Which club has had the biggest impact on you?
Personally, the club that has had the biggest impact on me is between ASB and drama. ASB and drama have brought me some of my closest friends and mentors, challenging me but also giving me so many opportunities in my community and school.
What advice would you give to other students who want to get involved?
I encourage all students to get as involved as you possibly can. You will never know the opportunities that being a part of clubs and sports will bring. Even if your friends think it’s not cool or exciting, I promise you, it’s never something to judge before you experience it for yourself. You will meet so many new people and create some of the best high school memories that you will have forever.
