My name is Harmin. I’m in 11th grade and I have been in journalism since I was a freshman. I always find myself coming back to this class because of the beneficial impact it has on me. Being in journalism has made me more self-aware, grateful, mindful and conscious of the world around me. The world is always changing and as I get older I realize how important it is to know what’s going on, the issues, the ups and the downs. Journalism has definitely changed my thinking and has made me a better person. Not only that, but academically it has helped my writing skills and has turned into a hobby that I love. Furthermore, I think everybody should have a passion for something they love, whether it be cooking, baking, music, or even a subject. Having some kind of creative outlet helps your mind and work ethic. For three years, journalism has been mine. :)
