Hello, my name is Stephon Spiegel. I was born here in Turlock on December 3rd 2002. I am a musician, writer and future soldier of the U.S Army with the MOS of 68J. I have always had a passion for artforms whether it be music, writing, and or film. They just help me express thoughts I can’t put into words verbally, but thats why the arts are so important to me. I make music on my Soundcloud (which is just my name) but have taken a bit of a break to find my own sound. My favorite music ranges from punk rock to the crooners of the 50s. My favorite artists/bands are The Smiths, Nirvana, Joy Division, Green Day, Blink-182, The Zombies, The Four Seasons, The Beatles, and Frank Sinatra. I play multiple instruments such as guitar, electric bass, ukulele, and trumpet (also a little bit of keys). I love film franchises such as Star Wars and the MCU, as I grew up on these stories and characters. People who know me think I am brash and outgoing, but my personality is truly reserved as I had to learn to be outgoing. I plan on going to Fresno State when I graduate and when my Army contract is up I will either decide to continue reserves or go active duty. I write a lot about entertainment and media since it’s so important to me. I unfortunately could not join Journalism full time due to a schedule conflict, but Mrs. Hall was gracious enough to let me write freelance. I am happy to be writing for the Roaring Times!
