Pitman High held its annual Car Show on Monday March 19 during lunch. The show was a great success, many students participated and had a great experience.

This event is a contest where students showcase their cars to be judged based on the best appearance. The car show is a special event for Pitman students/staff because it helps diversify interests and it’s simply a great and fun annual event held.  Many students on campus take great pride in their cars and this is the perfect day for them to show off and express themselves!

The show consisted with many different cars. Starting with normal casual cars and working its way up to lifted trucks, speedster cars, antiques and many more. A majority of students participated in this event it was fun to see and hear the students show their cars and play there music.

Alongside students cars, Officer Alberty showcased his cop car allowing students check it out and see the many accessories he has. And the marine corps entered their truck with an inspiring marines sticker along the side of the truck as they stood representing it in uniform.

At the amphitheater ASB members were playing all types of music that students enjoyed which made the show even more enjoyable. Students were taking photos next to cars, praising the owners, etc.

This was yet another successful event that Pitman has held as there were a lot of students involved from the car owners to students looking around. In a matter of forty five minutes (lunch period), so much was accomplished and in the end, events like these are the ones that students can hold onto forever.
